Indigenous issues

Over the course of 15 years work on communicating social issues in Australia, Sean has undertaken a range of projects related to indigenous issues, including:

- Working closely with ANTaR in Sydney; he has served on ANTaR's national committee and helped prepare a major marketing plan for ANTaR and Sea of Hands;

- A media campaign for the NSW Land Council to fight a NSW Liberal Government's attempt to roll back land rights legislation;

- Developing of an information booklet on Aboriginal English as a second language for the Commonwealth Government;

- Creating an information magazine designed to promote the importance of maintaining indigenous languages, also for the for the Commonwealth Government;

- Developing the "Tracking Your Rights" manual for the Human Rights Commission;

- Preparation of the (former) Aboriginal Reconciliation Council's "Community Action Program", which led to the creation of community reconciliation groups around the country.
